About Me

My Approach

My role is to motivate students, but my motivation is to share my love of Maths, Physics and Chemistry. I aim to leave pupils with not only improved grades, but an approach to learning conducive to long-term success. This means embedding critical thinking and problem solving techniques into the learning process, and introducing a focussed, yet curiosity-based approach to learning.

Having studied Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Chemistry at A Level, I am now continuing my study of Physics at the University of Oxford. This gives me recent, first-hand experience of high-level problem solving and exam technique, which I use in my teaching to help students manage the step-up to A Level with confidence.

Reviews

“He offered step by step explanations, exam heuristics and tips in how to complete Chemistry questions. He also taught some theory, going through topic areas in detail and dedicated time to do extra research on top of your inquiries. Organised with a One Note document. Thanks Adrian!”

“He is a very intelligent young man. He often seeks out ways to challenge himself and he regularly asks me questions beyond the scope of the A level course. He is also very confident and always willing to share his knowledge. I can imagine he would make a brilliant tutor and I would highly recommend him to you.”
